
11. Term of office of members of Supervisory Committee—(1) Subject to the succeeding provisions of this section, every member of the Supervisory Committee shall hold office for a term of 3 years, but may from time to time be reappointed.
(2) Any member of the Supervisory Committee may resign his office at any time by written notice given to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, or to the Prime Minister if there is no Speaker or the Speaker is absent from New Zealand.
(3) Any member of the Supervisory Committee may be removed from office at any time by the Governor-General upon an address from the House of Representatives for disability, bankruptcy, neglect of duty, or misconduct.
(4) If any member of the Supervisory Committee dies, resigns, or is removed from office, the vacancy so created shall be filled in the manner in which the appointment to the vacant office was originally made, and every person appointed under this subsection shall hold office for the remainder of the term for which his predecessor was appointed.
(5) Every member of the Supervisory Committee, unless he sooner vacates his office under subsection (2) or subsection (3) of this section, shall continue in office until his successor comes into office.
