[Abortion] Section 41. Fees and travelling allowances
41. Fees and travelling allowances—(1) The Supervisory Committee is hereby declared to be a statutory Board within the meaning of the Fees and Travelling Allowances Act 1951.
(2) There shall be paid to the members of the Supervisory Committee, and of every committee appointed by it, and to every person co-opted under section 16 of this Act by the Supervisory Committee or any committee appointed by it, and to every certifying consultant, out of money from time to time appropriated by Parliament for the purpose, remuneration by way of salary, fees, and allowances and travelling allowances and expenses, in accordance with the Fees and Travelling Allowances Act 1951, and the provisions of that Act shall apply accordingly as if, in the case of each such committee, the committee were a statutory Board within the meaning of that Act, and as if, in the case of every certifying consultant, he were a member of such a Board.
